🇯🇵 Study, SSW & Work in Japan from Bangladesh

Japan is the single largest overseas-employment and study destination we place Bangladeshi candidates into — through the Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) Type 1 visa, the Technical Intern Training Program (TITP), and direct university admission.

Japan's ageing workforce and structural labour shortage have opened a formal, legal pathway for skilled and semi-skilled Bangladeshi workers through the Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) programme, alongside a long-standing Technical Intern Training Program (TITP) and a growing number of Japanese-language university and vocational (senmon gakko) admissions.

Kawaii International Education, working alongside TREDMIG's manpower and HR consultancy arm, prepares candidates for the Japanese Foundation Test (JFT-Basic) or JLPT, matches them to registered supervising organisations and employers, and manages the full visa and Certificate of Eligibility (COE) process end to end.

HOW IT WORKS

Your Japan route, step by step

01

Eligibility & sector selection

We assess your education, age and target sector — caregiving, food service, manufacturing, construction or agriculture — against current SSW quota availability.

02

Japanese language training

Enrol in our JFT-Basic / JLPT N5–N4 batch. Most candidates need 4–8 months of structured study before sitting the exam.

03

Skills & language exams

Sit the JFT-Basic (or JLPT) and the relevant skills evaluation test for your sector, both required for the SSW visa.

04

Employer matching & COE filing

Once certified, we match you with a registered accepting organisation and file your Certificate of Eligibility with Japanese immigration.

05

Visa, ticketing & departure

Visa stamping, pre-departure orientation, and flight booking through Kawaii Aviation, followed by arrival support in Japan.

Costs vary by sector, training duration and whether the role is SSW or TITP. We provide a written, itemised cost breakdown at your free consultation — with no hidden fees added later.

FAQ

Common questions about Japan

No — most candidates start from zero. You'll join our language batch first and typically reach the required JFT-Basic or JLPT N4–N5 level within four to eight months of structured study.

SSW (Specified Skilled Worker) is a newer visa category for workers who pass a skills and language test, with a clearer path to renewal and, for some sectors, SSW Type 2. TITP (Technical Intern Training Program) is an older training-focused scheme with fixed-term placements. We help you choose the route that fits your qualifications and goals.

Caregiving, food service manufacturing, and construction currently have the highest number of open SSW slots for Bangladeshi candidates. Availability shifts with Japan's published quota ceilings, which we track and factor into our sector recommendations.

Family accompaniment isn't available under SSW Type 1 or TITP, but candidates who progress to SSW Type 2 in eligible sectors can apply to bring immediate family. We explain the realistic timeline for this at your consultation.

From your first consultation to departure, most candidates complete the process in 8 to 14 months, depending on language exam scheduling and employer matching timelines.
